IN JUST ONE TREATMENT, SCAR TISSUE RELEASE THERAPY...
-
Helps to reduce the appearance and density of scar tissue regardless of the age of the injury
-
Decreases pain in connective tissue by releasing fascia
-
Speeds up the healing process of the wound and scar in newer injuries
-
Reorganizes scar tissue to allow the regeneration of nerves, lymphatic vessels, and energy flow
-
Increases skins inter-cellular metabolism and protein synthesis
-
Increases blood circulation and lymphatic drainage

HOW IT WORKS
The treatment involves the simultaneous application of a safe, low level electrical pulse to each side of the physical scar. The microcurrent helps to re-polarize the scar tissue, allowing it to lay in proper matrix so that flow of energy, fluid, lymph, blood, and nerve connectivity can resume.
In one treatment, you will likely see visible changes in the appearance of the scar and will gradually notice a reduction in the tightness and restriction felt at the site of and nearby the scar! By reducing the scar tissue, it in turn releasing the muscles and fascia that are causing pain.
No matter how old the scar is, the MPS is still capable of making significant improvements. Click here to learn more about MPS therapies!

ABOUT THE TREATMENT
The microcurrent stimulation used during this treatment is painless and not intense in frequency. Each microcurrent session lasts from 15-45 minutes depending on the surface area being treated. Scar tissue & adhesions can be completely released in as little as 2-3 visits, but this is highly dependent and some may take closer to 5 or 6 treatments for a complete remodel. Scars usually have drastic improvement in appearance, color, soreness, and tissue mobility within 1-3 sessions. In my scar release treatments, I like to incorporate multiple modalities including MPS, manual lymphatic drainage (if necessary), and some hands on scar release massage to get the best results possible.
